Professional Profile:

Professor Blonder earned her M.S. in Marine Biology from Florida Institute of Technology and her B.A. in Zoology from the University of New Hampshire. Prior to joining Flagler College, she worked for many years in land conservation and fisheries biology, specializing in the areas of ecological management and research, prescribed fire management and planning, spiny lobster biology, field educational activities, and conservation and bilogical monitoring. In addition to her teaching service to the College, Professor Blonder works in curriculum design, serves on the Faculty Senate, and is integrating current research in science teaching into her courses. Her areas of special interest include conservation ecology and resource management.
