Marketing

The marketing major offers you a broad overview of the functional areas of business with an emphasis in marketing. The program provides you with an opportunity to develop the ideal combination of creative and analytical skills necessary to design and execute marketing strategies.  

Program Description

You will apply concepts and principles to real world projects by creating marketing plans, advertising campaigns, sales proposals, and sales plans.  You will get to know your classmates through group projects and gain the hands-on experience essential for success in the business world. 

You will be prepared for careers in:

  • Professional selling

Major Requirements

Students who major in Marketing must satisfactorily complete a total of 69 credit hours including 45 hours of required core business courses, 15 hours of required marketing courses and 9 hours of marketing electives.
