Professional Profile:

Professor Makowski earned his M.B.A with honors from The University of Notre Dame and his B.S. with a concentration in Accounting from Wilkes College. He has received additional graduate training in accounting from The University of Phoenix. Mr. Makowski is a licensed and certified public accountant in the State of Florida, and he served for seven years as an audit supervisor and accountant before joining Flagler College in 1989. He received the Faculty of the Year award for 1993-1994 and was a recipient of the 2008 Dean's Award for Distinguished Teaching.
