In Professor Smatt’s words: “I love seeing students succeed. It is very inspiring to see students begin a journey that they see as a great struggle and end up realizing their potential and that anything is possible for them. I love contributing to the field and helping students overcome their anxiety with math and learn how to study better. Math should seem accessible and interesting, just as any subject, and it is certainly possible to understand. If you feel like you have math anxiety don't worry I will be ready to guide you through this course. So, regardless if you haven't had math in years or just simply put it off until the end of your degree, I will be right by your side from day 1 to the last day :o)”
