Don Berglund earned a Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy from Virginia Tech, an M.P.A from the University of Nebraska, and a B.A. from Nebraska Wesleyan University. He has served as the Director of the Public Administration Program since its introduction in 2003. He specializes in American domestic public policy, especially fiscal policy, and the history of Public Administration in America. Professor Berglund’s 2015 book, entitled St. Augustine: Preservation vs. Makeover-Dynamics of Public Policy in American’s Oldest City, examines how St. Augustine’s historical background affects public policy decision making in the city.
