Richard Griffiths, Vice President CNNRichard Griffiths

Mr. Griffiths' broadcasting career spans over 30 years, and he has spent most of it at CBS and CNN producing - he has had editorial oversight for all CNN platforms since 2010. Some of Mr. Griffiths' recent professional accomplishments include a 2013 Investigative Reporters and Editors Medal, a 2013 Cronkite/Jackson Award and Peabody Awards in 2012, 2010 and 2005.

In 2002, Mr Griffiths was also the Senior Executive Producer for CNN's investigation and analysis of Al Qaeda's video library, which won the Royal Television Society Award for International News, the Overseas Press Club David Kaplan Award and a Peabody. In addition to his editorial duties at CNN, Mr. Griffiths is also a sought-after on journalism ethics, and he spends a week every spring as a Knight Fellow at UNC-Chapel Hill.

Mr. Johnson has 27 years of public affairs and public relations experience on a wide range of corporate-image, public policy and crisis communications issues. Previously the Vice-Chairman of Worldwide Growth and President of Public Affairs at Fleishman-Hillard, Mr. Johnson headed up the company's regional offices, co-chaired Fleishman-Hillard's Senior Management Committee, and managed the firm's international offices located in Mexico City and San Juan, as well as the global campaign consultancy office in London.

Throughout out his career, Mr. Johnson has worked closely with an array of Fortune 500 company executives on public affairs and communications issues. His clients have included Huawei, AARP, SBC, Tata Motors, AT&T, America Online, Syntex Corporation, Du Pont, Searle, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Sandoz Corporation, Ralston Purina, Knoll Pharmaceutical, Sony Corporation of America, Imation, the US Mint, the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, as well as the governments of Turkey, Egypt, and Brazil.

Ms. Hill teaches courses in field and post-production and has served as the Director of Photography and Associate Director on carious documentaries, including Freedom Never Dies: The Legacy of Harry T. Moore, The Last Days of the Revolution and Giving Up the Canal, all of which have aired nationally on PBS. Prior to coming to Wake Forest, Ms. Hill, along with colleagues Sandra Dickson and Cara Pilson, worked for more than ten years teaching and administering the Documentary Institute graduate program at the University of Florida.

Ms. Hill most recently served as the Associate Director on The Last Flight of Petr Ginz, which has screened in more than 40 countries and is available in six languages. In 2006, Ms. Hill worked on Negroes with Guns: Rob Williams and Black Power, which aired on Independent Lens on PBS. Negroes with Guns also screened at numerous film festivals, and it was the recipient of the 2006 Erik Barnouw Award for Outstanding Historical Documentary. Freedom Never Dies: The Legacy of Harry T. Moore also won the 2001 Erik Barnouw Award for Outstanding Historical Documentary.

Patrizia Cocca, originally from Italy, holds an MA in Global Marketing Communication and Advertising from Emerson College, and an Advanced Degree in Modern History from University of Rome.

She started working with the Global Environment Facility in 2008 and was recently appointed as the Knowledge Management Coordinator, where she currently manages the GEF electronic content. Prior to working with GEF, Cocca worked in the World Bank's EXT Development Communication division where she focused on free trade and rural development issues in Central America.

After graduating with a BFA from Southern Methodist University, John Ludwig worked for various media companies and advertising agencies before founding Push Inc in 1996. Push started as an ad agency and now operates as a full service integrated marketing company for clients like the Walt Disney Company, Johnny Rockets, Sonny's BBQ, and more.

John has over 25 years of creative and brand strategy experience and is very involved in the Orlando business community and is a frequent speaker at the American Advertising Federations chapters.

Brian Fuhrer, Senior VP/National and Cross-Platform Product Leader NielsenBrian Fuhrer

Mr. Fuhrer is a leading global provider of information and analytics around what consumers buy and what they watch. In this role, he leads Nielsen's cross-platform efforts, identifying and measuring the opportunities digital media create for traditional media and advertising clients. Most recently, Mr. Fuhrer has been working with clients on merging Internet-based TV viewing with traditional TV ratings as well as leveraging the expanding availability of on-demand content.

Mr. Fuhrer's expertise stems from more than 20 years in media research and product development at Nielsen. His experience spans both the US advertising industry and overseas markets, where Nielsen has a media presence in more than 30 countries.
