Will I be accepted at Flagler?
Flagler College seeks students who are academically prepared for the rigorous curriculum of a selective college as well as eager to get involved in, and benefit from, every aspect of the Flagler experience. This is why the Admissions Committee considers a variety of factors in its decision-making process, including:

Academic Performance. The pattern of courses and grades earned, in high school.

Standardized Test Scores. While considered secondary to your high school classroom performance, Flagler generally requires scores in the low 500s or higher in the Critical Reading, Math, and Writing sections of the SAT or above 21 in the English, Math, Reading, Science, and English/Writing sections of the ACT.

Leadership Potential. The Admissions Committee tries to understand the individual you are by paying close attention to the activities you have been involved in during high school, your recommendation letters, and most important, your written essay.

Testimonials Marie Cirelli
"If you really want to make something out of yourself, Flagler College is the place to do it. You may get the same opportunities at a bigger school, but you have more competition. Here, you are in a community of friends where everyone is encouraging, where you get the individual attention you need, where you can actually take advantage of all the available resources."
